The eighth episode is featuring Sanjay, a Jamaican recording artist who is operating a guest-house Belleh23 and who is also leading his Belleh23 vlog.
Sanjay described his journey in the entertainment industry.
He told us about his process of creating songs and finding inspiration.
He was speaking about his projects - Belleh23 guest-house, online classes at Belleh23, Dancehall Mecca and Old School Wine documentary.
He expressed his opinion about the division of dancehall into old, middle and newschool. He was also talking about the dancehall acceptance in the Jamaican society and how dancehall changed over the time.
The dancing has probably gone through about 3 or 4 generations. And every generation, people attempt to label it with a new name. So what´s gonna happen in 5 years time? New new newschool? Newer school? The newest school? I think we need to come up with different names to define each era, cause I don´t think the names are very accurate.
